Hispanic Ministry
These are the Southern Baptist Hispanic Churches in Western North Carolina:

- Our average worship attendance has grown from 12-17 to 25-30!
- We are holding Bible studies at the Association Building every other Friday evening. A time of fellowship/dinner is observed followed by a study of God’s Word. Currently, we are teaching on the Book of 1 John.
- A few of our members are in the process of forming a praise band. Every Sunday afternoon after worship service the group stays to rehearse.
- Three of our members are taking classes at the new Fruitland Campus in Sylva. Classes are held Saturday 8:30am-12:30pm. One of these individuals is also attending Fruitland’s Hendersonville campus on Thursday evenings. All of their courses are offered in Spanish.
- Casa de Dios will be showing the film, “Courageous”, in Spanish on February 17 at 6:30pm. This is being sponsored by El Centro del Señor in Cullowhee (where I also serve as pastor). We will also have a fellowship dinner just before the movie.
